​Project Manager required for an established Main Contractor, undertaking new build, refurbishment, facades and insurance reinstatement work within the industrial, commercial, residential and retail sectors throughout the UK. An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Project Manager to join our team. The role will be full time on a permanent contract, within a fast-paced environment and will be site based.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your duties will include the following:

  • Maintain a safe workplace without risk to health and compliant with policy and law

  • Ensure project delivery aligned with construction issue information and the programme requirements

  • Prepare, resource and manage contract programme in accordance with agreed timelines, budget and resources

  • Monitor and report progress on a regular basis through site and team meetings and our internal progress report

  • Liaise with and manage our Client, Design Team and supply chain

  • Manage all directly employed and sub-contract resources to ensure each activity is completed to the required standards and compliance

  • Liaise with our internal design and commercial departments

  • Ensure procurement of materials and plant is adequate to maintain project plan and minimise wastage

  • Ensure any snagging and defects are minimised and attended to promptly

Requirements and skills:

  • SMSTS or SSSTS qualified

  • Gold or Black CSCS card

  • Conversant in software packages such as Microsoft excel, word, outlook and notable construction programme software packages

  • Main contracting experience delivering projects with steel frame, rainscreen cladding, insulated render, ACM cladding, SFS and curtain walling

  • Positive, ‘can-do’ attitude

  • Team player

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • High professional standards aligned with honesty and integrity
